BREAKING: Samdech Hun Sen Announces Absence from Senate Plenary Session After Positive COVID-19 Test

Phnom Penh: On February 25, 2025, Samdech Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate, announced on his social media account that he will be absent from the plenary session of the Senate scheduled for February 26.

He has also canceled several planned engagements, including a visit to His Majesty the King on February 28, 2025. Samdech Techo Hun Sen revealed that he tested positive for COVID-19 after experiencing symptoms such as coughing and sneezing the previous night. In his message, he urged the public to remain vigilant and take precautions, highlighting the ongoing threat of the COVID-19 virus.
